In 2018 I was delighted to be nominated in two categories for the Tamworth Business Awards 2018: as 'Most Promising Start-Up' and in the Services category.

Some of these comments are from the nominations for those awards, and some are from my facebook page:

  • I have been playing for just four years but stalled around Grade 4. Alison immediately understood my requirements as a new player in a big band...
Under her tuition my progress has reignited and likewise my enthusiasm for music.

  • She quickly assessed where and how I could improve. I want and need to be put through my paces and set challenges.
She has certainly done that for me. Her skills and intuition to get me back on the right track and build on where I had reached is most encouraging.

  • I leave after an hour exhilarated by what I have learnt and with homework set to practice.

  • Alison is very thorough in everything she does. She doesn't take short cuts which she or I will regret later.

  • She teaches music across wide age ranges, I am in my 60's; her next student is under 10. Alison superbly manages our entirely different requirements with tailor-made lessons designed to meet our particular requirements. Achieving that professionalism calls for special skills and dedication. She has both of those attributes in bucket loads.

  • Alison is a good listener and answers my questions with skill and thoroughness. I look forward to my lessons each week which speaks for itself!

  • Very patient and fun tutor! Alison really gives me the confidence to push on and do better. Really enjoying my saxophone journey.

  • I would highly recommend being taught by Alison, she's made playing the saxophone, for me, fun and accessible.

  • My daughter has just come back from her first lesson with Alison and she is unbelievably excited x Alison was so welcoming and informative x looking forward to the musical journey with her ! X
